inspire and motivate their teams, and stress can hinder this
crucial aspect of leadership development and progression.
Another key aspect of stress in leadership
development is burnout. When stress levels are
consistently high, leaders can become exhausted, leading
to burnout and decreased motivation. Burnout can have
long-term impacts on the leader's ability to effectively lead
and manage the organization, especially if that impact is
on their personal health. Stress can also negatively impact
relationships, both personal and professional. Leaders
must be able to maintain strong relationships with their
team members, stakeholders, and other key players in the
organization. High levels of stress can make this
challenging and can lead to decreased collaboration and
effectiveness.
