your achievements, why they were necessary, and how
you accomplished them. By doing so, you can make a
compelling case for yourself and demonstrate your value
as a leader.
Great leaders are experts in documenting their process,
progress, accomplishments, and setbacks. They
understand that failure and setbacks are not the same
things and respond to them differently. For the average
person or emerging leader, the word "failure" carries a
negative connotation that can limit their growth and
prevent them from overcoming setbacks. However, if they
reframe setbacks as "challenges," their mindset
automatically shifts towards finding solutions that will
eliminate the obstacle.
