How can we properly see when it’s time to lead if we
are afraid to or fail to open our eyes?
For all intents and purposes, leadership can be defined
through the lenses by which we see the world, and our
perspectives are derived through the filters we place on
them. One such filter we must have as leaders or emerging
leaders is a clear concept of vision, purpose, and trust.
Leadership, for all intents and purposes, is the process
or act of influencing and inspiring others to work towards
a common goal. It involves setting a clear vision,
establishing goals, providing guidance and support, and
motivating team members to achieve specific goals. A
great leader not only possesses technical skills but also
interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability
to expand the latitude others need to inform and
implement strategies that harnesses the power that comes
through collective thinking.
Three fundamental principles that every leader must
understand and prioritize are adaptability, vision and
communications. Effective leadership requires a wellhoned understanding of adaptability, vision and
