Through Leadership
Here, we will embark on a transformative journey
towards creating a more sustainable environment for
everyone to be equal partners in the growth and
development of an organization or work group through
proactive leadership principles and conversations that
create space for all contributors to thrive. By examining the
crucial role of leadership, we aim to empower individuals
to take intentional steps and actions toward dismantling
systemic racism, fostering inclusivity, and holding one
another accountable for rebuilding that which has been
dismantled.
Before we can lead effectively, we must first
understand the nature of racism and its deep-rooted
impact on those marginalized by systemic oppression,
racist policies, and bigotry in all its forms and practices. To
that end, we will explore some of the premises of racialized
oppression recognize the privilege and power dynamics
that perpetuate inequality and further divide those who
benefit from racism from those who are victims of it.
