When Leadership Matters Vol 2 2025 New - Flipbook - Page 34
Robert Britten
Inclusive leaders should be constantly and critically
examining the impact of narrow scopes of professionalism
that values comfort over opportunity. Failure to do so can
plant seeds that grow into norms of comfort that eliminate
the taking of steps towards creating a more inclusive and
equitable professional world. I challenge us to collectively
challenge the status quo, foster dialogue, and embrace
diverse perspectives to create a future where everyone,
regardless of their background, can thrive and succeed on
their own terms. Together, we can reshape our
understanding of professionalism and build a community
of practice that truly meets people where they are and
moves us to where we need to be.
