powerless to address such things because of power
dynamics or simply the need to care for themselves and
their families. Black people may face unequal treatment in
hiring, promotions, pay, and other workplace
opportunities due to anti-black bias. Discrimination may
also be evident in the allocation of resources and access to
career advancement programs.
