difficult circumstances.
There are many forms of leadership and many types of
leaders, but those driven by service, known as servant
leaders, can be the most influential people of a generation.
When the call for leadership comes in, they answer it and
not pass on it because that moment requires of them what
they have been prepared to deliver. While leading can be a
daunting uphill battle, it is a responsibility that leaders
willingly embrace, as they bear the responsibility for the
outcome of situations they lead others through.
Accidental leaders may not have planned to be leaders,
but their life experiences have prepared them for the role
when it arises. Once they step into the role of leadership,
they can never step back into their old ways of thinking
and being. Accidental leadership also requires a
commitment to growth and continuous learning and a
desire to push beyond old limits to achieve greater levels
of success. While the role of leadership for some may be
accidental the actions taken while leading are intentional.
