performance. Leaders should lead by example,
demonstrating the behaviors and attitudes they want to see
in their team members.
Continuous improvement is yet another important
component of a high-performance team. Leaders should
encourage their team members to seek out opportunities
for growth and development, both individually and as a
team. This can include ongoing training, skill-building
workshops, and professional development opportunities.
Innovation and creativity can be heightened through
tabletop exercises and developing “dreaming” sessions as
part of workflow. I define dreaming in this sense as an
intentional time to discuss and design a future that will be
without barriers or limitations. What would our
organization look like if________? And just let the
imagination flow to spaces where traditional thought
would restrict.
